    Research-backed

We study SEO before we sell it

Most agencies sell SEO from playbooks written in 2019. We publish original research on how search actually works today, then apply the findings to client work. Our 2026 pricing study surveyed 50 Indian agencies so clients know what fair pricing looks like. Our Core Web Vitals test measured 100 real websites to separate ranking factors from ranking myths. That same rigour goes into every engagement: we test, we measure, we report what the data says, even when it is inconvenient.

    The problem

Most SEO fails for three boring reasons

    • Rankings that don't pay. Agencies chase keywords that rank easy and convert never, because easy keywords make monthly reports look good. Traffic goes up, revenue doesn't move, and six months later you are paying for a graph that points the wrong way. We start from your revenue pages and work backwards to the keywords that feed them.
    • Content on a broken foundation. Publishing blogs on a site with crawl errors, slow pages, and thin category pages is decorating a house with no plumbing. Google cannot rank what it cannot crawl, and users do not convert on pages that take six seconds to load. Our audit fixes the foundation before a single new page is written.
    • Reports nobody can read. Twenty-page PDFs full of charts, zero lines about money in versus money out. If your agency cannot tell you what each rupee of SEO spend returned, you do not have reporting, you have decoration. Our monthly update fits the numbers that matter on one page: traffic, leads, revenue, and what we did to move them.

    What we do

Six disciplines. One team. One plan.

Each service below is delivered by a specialist, not handed to a junior with a checklist and a prayer. Together they cover everything Google actually rewards in 2026.

    1. Technical SEO Audit and Fixes

Every engagement starts here, because no amount of content fixes a site Google cannot crawl properly. Most sites we audit carry at least five technical issues silently capping their traffic.

    • Crawl budget, indexation, and XML sitemap cleanup
    • Core Web Vitals: LCP, INP, and CLS remediation
    • Schema markup: FAQ, product, local business, articles
    • HTTPS, hreflang, canonical chains, redirect audits

    2. Keyword and Content Architecture

We map every important keyword to a page with a defined job: rank, convert, or support. The map comes before the writing, always, so you never publish two pages fighting Google for the same query.

    • Search intent analysis per keyword cluster
    • Content gap analysis against top-ranking competitors
    • Internal linking structure designed around priority pages
    • Briefs your team can execute, or we produce the content

    3. On-Page Optimisation

Titles, headings, and content upgrades done to a checklist, not guesswork. We rewrite underperforming pages instead of publishing new ones and hoping. Fewer pages, each one earning its place.

    • Title tags and meta descriptions written for clicks, not just keywords
    • Heading hierarchy and semantic HTML cleanup
    • Image optimisation: compression, alt text, lazy loading
    • Existing content refreshes prioritised by traffic potential

    4. Local SEO

For businesses where the phone ringing matters more than national rankings, this is where the money is. Our Google Business Profile ranking research feeds directly into how we run local campaigns.

    • Google Business Profile optimisation and category strategy
    • Citation building and NAP consistency cleanup
    • Review generation systems that stay within guidelines
    • Local landing pages for each service area

    5. Link Earning and Digital PR

Outreach that earns editorial links from real publications. Slow, legitimate, permanent. One genuine editorial link outperforms a hundred directory submissions, and nothing we build will ever need disavowing.

    • Digital PR campaigns built around original data
    • Journalist and blogger outreach, manual and personalised
    • Broken link building and unlinked mention recovery
    • Zero PBNs, zero paid link schemes, zero exceptions

    6. Analytics, Tracking, and Reporting

GA4, Search Console, and dashboards you can actually read. Every report answers three questions: what happened, what we did, and what changes next month.

    • GA4 and Search Console setup audited and fixed
    • Conversion tracking tied to revenue, not just traffic
    • Rank tracking for keywords that matter to the business
    • Monthly written update plus quarterly strategy review

    The starting point

What our technical audit actually checks

Every engagement begins with a paid audit covering 40+ checkpoints across four areas. You receive the full report with prioritised fixes, whether or not we work together afterwards. Here is what is inside.

    • Crawl and indexation. Are the right pages indexed and the wrong ones excluded? We check robots.txt, sitemaps, canonical tags, redirect chains, orphan pages, and crawl budget waste. Most large sites are accidentally telling Google to ignore their best pages.
    • Performance. Core Web Vitals measured on real mobile connections, not office wifi. LCP, INP, and CLS with field data from CrUX where available, plus image weight, JavaScript bloat, and server response times. Speed is a ranking factor and a conversion factor.
    • Content and structure. Thin pages, duplicate content, keyword cannibalisation, heading hierarchy, internal linking depth. We map your full content inventory against search demand to find the gaps worth filling and the dead weight worth pruning.
    • Authority and risk. Backlink profile quality, toxic link detection, anchor text distribution, and competitor gap analysis. If a previous agency built links you should not have, we find them before Google does.

    Honesty policy

    What we will not do

Saying no is part of the job. These are permanent policies, not negotiable add-ons.

    • No guaranteed rankings. Explained above, and worth repeating: anyone selling position guarantees is selling fiction.
    • No link schemes. No PBNs, no paid guest post networks, no footer link deals. If a tactic would embarrass you on the front page of a newspaper, we do not use it.
    • No content farms. We will not publish thirty thin articles a month to hit a deliverable count. Five pages that rank beat fifty that do not.
    • No fake reporting. Traffic from irrelevant countries, branded searches you already had, rankings for keywords nobody types. We report what the business gained, not what the graph flatters.
    • No lock-ins. Month-to-month after an initial three-month commitment, which exists only because SEO needs runway to show anything real.

    Pricing

What SEO actually costs in India

In 2026 we surveyed 50 Indian SEO agencies about their pricing. The ranges below come from that research, not from our rate card. Use them to judge any quote you receive, including ours.

Engagement typeTypical monthly rangeWhat you usually get
Local SEO (single city, service business)Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 35,000GBP management, citations, reviews, a few local pages. Enough for plumbers, clinics, and showrooms.
Small business SEO (regional reach)Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 60,000Technical maintenance, 2 to 4 content pieces monthly, foundational link building, monthly reporting.
Growth SEO (competitive niches)Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,00,000Full technical program, content engine, digital PR, CRO input. Where most serious mid-market companies land.
Enterprise / ecommerce SEORs. 1,00,000 to Rs. 1,50,000+Dedicated team, large-scale technical work, heavy content production, international or multi-location SEO.

Three things move you up or down within these ranges: how competitive your keywords are, how broken your site currently is, and how fast you want results. Anyone quoting without asking those three questions is quoting blind. Our own pricing sits in the middle of these bands. We quote after the audit, never before, because a quote without a diagnosis is a guess.

How to read any SEO quote, including ours

    • Count deliverables, not promises. A serious quote lists what gets done each month: how many technical fixes, how many content pieces, how many outreach campaigns. Vague quotes promise outcomes without describing work. Work is what you are buying.
    • Ask who does the work. Many agencies sell senior strategy and deliver junior execution. Ask for the names and experience of the people on your account, or at minimum the seniority mix. Nine specialists sounds good only if specialists actually touch your account.
    • Check the reporting sample. Ask to see a redacted monthly report before signing. If it leads with sessions and buries revenue on page nine, you now know what your own reports will look like.
    • Beware the too-cheap quote. Our research found real monthly costs cluster where they do because the work takes actual hours. A quote at half the market rate means half the work, outsourced execution, or automated spam. There is no efficiency secret that halves SEO labour.

    Choosing

    Agency, freelancer, or in-house?

An honest answer, including when the answer is not us.

    Freelancer

    Rs. 15k to 40k / month
    • Cheapest option, direct communication
    • Good for narrow, well-defined tasks
    • One person cannot cover technical, content, PR, and analytics deeply
    • No backup if they go quiet or get busy
    • You become the project manager

    Agency (like us)

    Rs. 30k to 1,50k / month
    • Full team: technical, content, PR, analytics
    • Processes and checklists from dozens of accounts
    • Reporting and accountability built in
    • Costs more than a freelancer, obviously
    • Needs 2 to 4 weeks of onboarding to learn your business

    In-house hire

    Rs. 60k to 1,20k / month salary
    • Lives inside your business and brand
    • Fast turnaround on small changes
    • One hire rarely covers all six SEO disciplines
    • Recruiting good SEOs in India is slow and competitive
    • Tool subscriptions and training add hidden cost

Our take: hire a freelancer for a defined project, build in-house when SEO is core to your business model and you can hire two or more people, and hire an agency when you want the full stack running from month one without recruiting. The hybrid path also works well: an agency sets strategy and handles technical while your in-house marketer executes content. We run several engagements exactly like this, and the knowledge transfer means your team gets stronger every quarter instead of staying dependent.

    Industries

Where SEO pays fastest in India

SEO works everywhere eventually, but the payback period varies wildly by industry. These are the sectors where we see the fastest, clearest returns.

    Healthcare and Clinics

Patients search symptoms, treatments, and "near me" before they ever call. Local SEO plus trustworthy medical content is a direct line to appointment bookings. High intent, high lifetime value, and most competitors still have brochure websites from 2018.

    Ecommerce and D2C

Category pages that rank are assets that sell while you sleep. The technical work is heavier (faceted navigation, crawl budget, product schema), but the payoff compounds: every ranking defendable position reduces your dependence on paid ads.

    Real Estate

Buyers research localities, projects, and builders for months before contacting anyone. Locality guides, project pages, and review content capture demand early in a very long buying cycle. We already run dedicated real estate SEO programs.

    Education and Coaching

Courses, colleges, and coaching institutes live on search: "best", "fees", "syllabus", "near me". Comparison and informational content captures students at the research stage, months before admission season.

    Legal and Financial Services

High-value, high-trust searches where expertise content wins. A single client from organic search can pay for a year of SEO. E-E-A-T matters most here, which is exactly what our white-hat approach builds.

    Local Services

Plumbers, salons, repair services, movers: the map pack is the whole game. Our local SEO programs target the three-pack with GBP optimisation, reviews, and service-area pages. We run these for dozens of service categories already.

    How we work

    Diagnostic first. Channels second.

The same four-stage method we use across every service. No stage gets skipped because a salesperson got excited.

    1

    Audit and Diagnostic

We review your site, competitors, analytics, and search data before recommending anything. The audit is a paid, standalone deliverable: you keep it even if we never work together again.

    2

    Strategy and Architecture

One keyword map, one content plan, clear targets per page cluster. You approve the plan before anything is built, so there are no surprises in month three.

    3

    Build and Execute

Technical fixes shipped, content published, links earned on a monthly calendar. Everything happens in your accounts, under your ownership and billing. No hostages.

    4

    Measure and Compound

Monthly written reports, quarterly reviews, results reported exactly as recorded. What worked gets more budget. What didn't gets cut. Compounding beats campaigning.

What the timeline realistically looks like

    Months 1 to 2: Foundation

Technical audit, critical fixes, tracking repair, keyword map. Traffic rarely moves much here. Anyone showing you big wins in week three is showing you noise.

    Months 3 to 4: Momentum

Content publishing starts compounding, early long-tail rankings appear, technical fixes start paying off. This is where most clients first see the graph bend.

    Months 5 to 6: Traction

Money keywords enter page one contention, link velocity builds domain authority, local pack positions stabilise. Reporting shifts from activity to outcomes.

    Month 7 onwards: Compounding

Established pages defend positions while new clusters launch. Cost per acquired customer from organic keeps falling because the asset base keeps growing. This is the part paid ads can never replicate.

    Buyer beware

Red flags when choosing an SEO agency

We would rather you hire a competitor than hire badly. If an agency does any of the following, walk away, even if that agency is us on a bad day.

    Guaranteed rankings

Nobody controls Google. A guarantee of position one is either a lie or a trick played with keywords nobody searches. Honest agencies guarantee work and reporting, never positions.

    Prices without questions

A quote issued before anyone has looked at your site, your competitors, and your analytics is a random number. It tells you the agency sells packages, not outcomes.

    Secret link building

If they cannot show you exactly where your links come from, the links are the kind you would not want shown. Ask for a sample link report before signing anything.

    Traffic-only reporting

Reports that celebrate sessions while ignoring leads and revenue are hiding the only metric that pays your bills. Demand revenue attribution from month one.

    They own your assets

Analytics, Search Console, and content held in the agency's accounts is a hostage situation dressed as service. Everything should live in accounts you own from day one.

    Twelve-month lock-ins

Long contracts protect the agency, not you. A confident agency earns renewal monthly. We have never needed a lock-in, and we do not plan to start.

    Fit check

Who this is for, and who should skip us

We are a good fit if

    • You want SEO tied to revenue, not vanity rankings
    • You can commit to at least 6 months of consistent work
    • Your site has real business behind it: products, services, or expertise worth ranking
    • You want to understand what is being done and why
    • You have, or will give us, access to developers for technical fixes

    Please don't hire us if

    • You need page one next month for a competitive keyword
    • You want the cheapest quote, regardless of method
    • Your business model depends on tactics Google penalises
    • You will not implement technical recommendations
    • You need daily hand-holding instead of monthly accountability

    Questions

    Asked often, answered honestly

How much does SEO cost in India?

Our 2026 study of 50 Indian agencies found retainers from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 1,50,000+ per month. Price follows scope: a local business needs less than a national ecommerce site. The pricing table above breaks it down by engagement type. We quote after the audit, never before.

How long until I see results?

Technical fixes can move things in 4 to 8 weeks. Competitive keywords typically take 4 to 6 months of consistent work, as the timeline section above shows. Anyone promising faster is selling something else, usually links you will regret.

Do you guarantee number one rankings?

No, and you should distrust anyone who does. Nobody controls Google, and algorithm updates can reshuffle any SERP overnight. We guarantee the work: the fixes shipped, the content published, the links earned, reported monthly in writing.

How are you different from cheap SEO packages?

Cheap packages sell volume: directory links, spun articles, automated reports. They optimise for the appearance of activity. We sell outcomes: fewer deliverables, each one tied to a ranking or revenue target, with reporting that shows the connection.

Can you work with my in-house team?

Yes, and we often do. A common split: we run strategy, technical SEO, and link earning while your team handles content production from our briefs. Or the reverse. The audit decides the split based on where your team's strengths actually are.

Do I own everything if we part ways?

Yes. Domain, hosting, Analytics, Search Console, content, and all logins stay in accounts you own from day one. If we ever part ways, you keep every asset, every ranking, and every report. No hostages, no handover fees.

Do you also run Google Ads or Meta Ads?

Yes, paid acquisition is half of what we do. Many clients run SEO and paid together: ads buy immediate traffic while SEO compounds. One team managing both means keyword data flows both ways instead of sitting in two silos that never talk.

Will AI Overviews kill my SEO traffic?

Not if your content deserves to be cited. Our 2026 research on AI Overviews found that original data, clear structure, and genuine expertise get surfaced, while thin rewritten content disappears. The strategy is not to fight AI search but to become the source it quotes.

What do you need from us to start?

Access to your website, Google Analytics, and Search Console, plus one person who can answer business questions and approve technical changes. The audit takes two to three weeks. After that, we need roughly two hours of your time per month for reviews and approvals. The biggest predictor of SEO success we have seen is not budget but responsiveness: clients who approve fixes quickly outrank clients who sit on recommendations for months.

Do you work with ecommerce sites?

Yes, and ecommerce SEO is some of our most technical work: faceted navigation, crawl budget on large catalogues, product schema, and category pages that rank instead of just existing. If your catalogue has more than 500 SKUs, the technical audit alone usually pays for itself.

    How do you report results?

A monthly written update covering traffic, keyword movement, leads, and revenue attributed to organic, plus exactly what we shipped that month. Quarterly, we review strategy: what is compounding, what is stalling, and where the next budget goes. No twenty-page chart decks. If you ever want the raw data behind any number in a report, it is one email away.

Why are you based in Ranchi?

Because great SEO does not require a Mumbai postcode. Being outside the metros keeps our costs honest, which keeps your retainer honest. We work with clients across India remotely, with the same reporting discipline wherever you are.
